Mustafa Emir, PhD, PE of Clark Dietz, Inc. was installed on the Public Policy Forum Board of Trustees at their 103rd Annual Meeting held January 11, 2017 at the Wisconsin Club in Milwaukee. Clark Dietz, Inc. has been a member of the organization since 2013. He was one of fifteen new trustees elected to the Board.
“Public Policy Forum fulfills a crucial role in Wisconsin and provides sound, non-partisan, fact based reports to guide local and regional decision making” Emir said.
The Public Policy Forum’s mission is to seek, discover, and disclose true and accurate information to enhance the effectiveness of government and public policy in southeastern Wisconsin. The organization facilitates discussion on public policy and action, acting as a resource for objective research and analysis to guide and shape public policy.
About Mustafa Emir, PhD, PE: Mr. Emir is a Vice President with Clark Dietz, Inc., an engineering consultancy operating from offices in Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin. Mustafa is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Wisconsin who specializes in stormwater and water resources engineering. He has been serving municipal clients in southeast Wisconsin for over 20 years. He currently serves as the President of the Milwaukee Riverkeeper®, a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving the quality of the Milwaukee River Basin waterways. Mr. Emir earned a PhD in geotechnical engineering and a BS in engineering from Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec. He and his wife Laura have two children and have lived in southeast Wisconsin since 1995.
